Get “inPulsive” with Allerta’s New Smartwatch

Ontario-based mobile solution company Allerta has made the official announcement that the inPulse Bluetooth watch for BlackBerry smartphone is now available for pre-order. Its being billed as the first wristwatch to work with the popular mobile. The watch isn’t a phone per se, since it doesn’t allow you to make calls. It’s more of a Blackberry accessory, alerting users to incoming calls, emails, and the like. So when the phone rings, you’ll still have to whip out the old cellie to answer the call.

Weighing in at a solid 5.6 oz, the 2.28 x 4.49 x 0.62 incher is the company’s first phone featuring Google’s much lauded OS. The sleek and sexy slider features a 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixel resolution. It also features a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and is configured for editing shots on the fly and geotagging.
