Two young girls, lost in a drain, chose to update their Facebook status rather than call for help.
The 10- and 12-year-old girls updated a Facebook status to say they were lost in a drain on Honeypot Road at Hackham in Adelaide’s southern suburbs on Sunday night.

Looks like Microsoft made a major error in judgement when they removed the head of a black man on a Polish marketing site and replaced it with a white guy’s. Not only that, but they didn’t even bother to Photoshop the hands to match. At first, I thought this was really racist of them, but it looks like there really aren’t that many black people in that region and they were just trying to match the marketing with the local demographic. Still, how sloppy and lazy of them to simply Photoshop the image. Now, TechCrunch has an excuse to kick off a meme.

A new 99-cent application from Tiverias Apps called GPush (iTunes link) aims to change that. Calling GPush simple would be an understatement – this app literally has a one-track mind. The only thing it does is provide push notifications for new emails in Gmail. It doesn’t open emails, or send emails, it just lets you know when new ones arrive, as soon as they arrive, and no matter what you’re doing.
