World renown business innovation scholar and entrepreneur, John Sibley Butler, will be honored with the Tech Innovation Special Achievement Award at the Tech Innovation Awards on Wednesday, October 14 in Austin, Texas. Butler is the director of the University of Texas at Austin’s IC2 (Innovation, Creativity and Capital-Institute) Institute, a think “and do” tank and home to several world-recognized programs such as the Austin Technology Incubator and a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization degree program.
