Corey Booker launched his new start-up #Waywire today in Alpha allowing the first users to sign up get early access to the news video platform.
Intended to give young people a voice, #Waywire features original and syndicated video content that lets viewers record and share their responses.
You can personalize #Waywire with your own content and it aggregates content from your own social networking sites. It’s really just another awesome way to consume the news or just any type of online video content.
I’m sure Mayor Booker would intend for people to create and share meaningful content, but if you wanted to upload a million cartoon clips, you are free to do that.
Still in Alpha, there are still some things to work on. Right now it’s a general video site, but if you have Alpha access you can check it out and give them some feedback on what you like and what you don’t like at firstname.lastname@example.org.
