The Roots to Headline Startup RockOn Event Series With Startup America at Democratic National Convention
The legendary Roots Crew are scheduled to headline ‘Startup RockOn‘ at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC Sept. 3.
Startup RockOn is a series of events highlighting the importance of America’s start-up community to the future, so it only makes sense they teamed up with Startup America.
Startup America is a growing national coalition launched under President Obama’s administration in 2011. It is dedicated to providing start-ups access to the corporations, investors, and services they need to grow.
In addition to seeing The Roots perform, StartUp RockOn will provide programmed events to bring together entrepreneurs, policy-makers, and celebrities.
Start-ups will be highlighted, as well as given a chance to meet and learn from other successful start-up founders.
Startup America’s CEO, Scott Case says, “as the RNC and DNC capture the attention of the country, it’s imperative to highlight the importance of startups to our national economy.”
