Interactive One, BET, and Council of Urban Professionals to Host 3rd Annual Digital Summit
Interactive One, BET Networks, and Council of Urban Professionals (CUP), announced today the third annual Digital Summit to be held during Internet Week on Wednesday, May 16 at the SVA Theatre in New York City.
The Digital Summit brings together some of the most powerful leaders of the digital world to explore topics such as the impact of Latino, African-American, Asian Pacific Islander and other minority online consumers, the evolution of the online community and new strategies for expanding business opportunities.
The panel discussion titled “The Entrepreneur & The Big Media Company: What Roles Do “Acqui-Hires” Play in the Media M&A Landscape?” will address the convergence of entrepreneurs and big media companies with a specific focus on talent acquisitions.
Various industry veterans will discuss how media firms view potential acquisitions from a talent perspective and will cover a range of digital acquisitions that have succeeded and failed, and will provide analysis of each of their outcomes.
