Students Circle Network CEO Steps Down to Focus on New Online University for African Students

Students Circle Network and Beni American University founder, Gossy Ukanwoke announced today he will step down as CEO.

The Students Circle Network, a social network focusing on education for college and high school students has seen much success since its launch in 2010, but Ukanwoke feels it is time to put his energy into his new online educational initiatve, Beni American University that helps African students unable to attend a traditional college or universities obtain a degree online.

Gossy Ukanwoke says:

I want to use this opportunity to respectfully step down as the CEO of Students Circle Network. I will retain my role as the Founder of the network and will be guiding the new SCN team in adjusting into their responsibilities, getting to know our partners, clients and most importantly the users.

I will be spending my time working on BAU and stepping up to the challenges ahead.

Samora Machel Reid will head Student Circle Network and will be in charge of of Technology Development, Strategy and Business Development. He will also oversee the operations and growth of the network.
