President Obama’s 2012 Campaign Spotify Playlist Has a Hint of Soul
President Obama and his 2012 Campaign are making sure they cover all social media avenues, even digital music. The president and his campaign released a Spotify playlist called the 2012 Campaign Playlist, but what’s on it?
The playlist consist of 28 songs from a variety of different artists. There are about five R&B tracks incorporated like Let’s Stay Together by Al Green and Raise Up by Ledisi.
It’s clear the playlist had to include all different types of genres to relate to different people’s taste. It’s reported that his campaign choose most of the songs, but doesn’t indicate how they were selected.
More than 1,000 users have subscribed to the playlist already.
