Kanye West Announces on Twitter DONDA – A New Design Company To Make A Difference

If you were on Twitter last night you probably saw Kanye and DONDA trending world-wide. Reason being the one and only Kanye West @kanyewest returned to Twitter to make a few announcements along with letting his followers know what’s been on his mind recently. Per Kanye’s tweets DONDA is a new design company named after his mother Donde West who passed away in 2007. After the announcement Kanye continue to tweet about school, education, and using his fame to help people. Here’s a storify of some of Kanye’s tweets.

Not only was this news but to some like myself this was inspirational and encouraging. As an entrepreneurs working “to accelerate, educate, and inform underrepresented technology entrepreneurs around the world with NewME Accelerator it was great to see an artist/rapper/celebrity talk about doing something positive. Some news/media outlets are wondering if this was just a twitter rant by Kanye or was he being real.
