NewME Community Entrepreneurs and Startup Directory Updated

Earlier this month we announced the NewME Community website at NewMECommunity.org. The site features a community forum, an entrepreneurs and startup Directory. We launched with an empty directory as part of goal is for founders to submit to the database for visibility and let others know if they’re seeking funding and/or hiring. We’re pleased to share that we have made a few updates to the site and added some of the directory submissions.

We updated the about page as well so you can see and connect with the NewME Community team. The site is still in beta with big plans ahead. If you’re a NewME Community organizer and/or have any questions feel free to reach out to us at community@newmecommunity.org

The NewME Accelerator wants to help develop a tech entrepreneurship community around the country for under-represented minorities with NewME Community.

The purpose of NewME Community is to spread the NewMe mission to new locations and individuals around the world. At its core, NewME is focused on increasing the resources available for minority (African-Americans, Latinos, and Women) tech entrepreneurs by providing a platform for success and a local entrepreneurship community. Through collaboration we all become stronger and more knowledgeable. NewME Community will serve as a meeting place for local minority entrepreneurs to gather, learn, network, and share with each other for the greater good of the community.
