NewME Community is Growing With Worldwide Meetup Day One Week Away #newmecommunity
We’re one week away from NewME Community Worldwide Meeetup Day on December 15th and communities across the country are getting ready. NewME Community was launched just 19 days ago and has already reached over 309 members, 56 cities and 62 communities.
The purpose of NewME Community is to spread the NewMe mission to new locations and individuals around the world. At its core, NewME is focused on increasing the resources available for minority (African-Americans, Latinos, and Women) tech entrepreneurs by providing a platform for success and a local entrepreneurship community. Through collaboration we all become stronger and more knowledgeable. NewME Community will serve as a meeting place for local minority entrepreneurs to gather, learn, network, and share with each other for the greater good of the community.
Currently New York,NY, Atlanta, GA, Durham, NC, San Francisco,CA, DMV (DC, Maryland), Chicago,IL and Baltimore, MD have some of the largest communities with 36 communities and 189 members participating in NewME Worldwide Meetup Day.
