Cyber Monday, Online Shopping Getting More Popular Each Year

Today is the biggest online shopping day of the year. Cyber Monday is said to have the best and lowest prices online out of any other day.

Shop.org says that eight out of ten online retailers are running special online promotions on Cyber Monday. According to Venture Beat, last year, Cyber Monday was the heaviest day of online spending ever, with sales exceeding $1 billion. Today is expected to beat another record this year.

Amazon saw the most traffic on Black Friday among retailers, followed by Walmart, Best Buy, Target and Apple. They most likely will see the most traffic from today too because they are offering the best deals around the web, as they did last year’s Cyber Monday.

But it’s not just sites like Amazon and Walmart that are having great deals. Stores like Steve Madden are offering 30 percent off purchases including free shipping, and even small online boutiques and consignment stores are offering major price cuts. There is a little something for everyone out there.

Where are you seeing the best deals this year?
