Idris Elba Produced Web Series Milk + Honey Release First Episode
There have been complaints about the lack of black shows on television and the ones that are aired being a bad representation of African-Americans.
Well, you may have to turn to the web for some quality black entertainment if none of the television shows are to your liking. Milk + Honey, a web series executively produced by actor Idris Elba, has released their first episode.
The series follows four African-American women’s spiritual, professional and romantic journeys in Hollywood. The show stars many notable actors and actresses such as Debbie Allen, Lance Gross, Bryce Wilson, Faune Chambers, and newcomer Asha Kamali.
Currently, Milk + Honey is only available via the web, but the production company Brown Paper Dolls along with Idris Elba plan on getting the series picked up on a television network too.
