Michael Jackson Tribute Set to Livestream on Facebook
Even if you are a die hard Michael Jackson fan, getting to London and paying two hundred dollars to see the upcoming tribute concert in person may not be realistic. Thanks to Facebook, the concert will be available via livestream straight from Millenium Stadium on their site.
To see the concert online, viewers can pay $3.99 through PayPal by Oct. 7. Viewers who purchase the livestream on the day of the show (Oct. 8), will have to pay $4.99. But compared to hundred dollar pricing, this is nothing.
This will be the first global pay-per-view broadcast to take place on Facebook.
Artists set to honor the late Michael Jackson at the concert include: Christina Aguilera, The Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis, Craig David, and 3T (Tito Jackson’s three sons).
