Interactive One Launches Health Focused Website

Interactive One has been very busy lately. In addition to sprucing up their philanthropic web property, BlackPlanetRising, they have also launched Elev8.com. The site promotes healthy attitudes and lifestyles in the black community, while offering tips to help them reach their health goals.

The site is already running full steam, with an interview from singer Mandisa and information about National Glaucoma Awareness month. There is also information about black yoga instructors and power foods for women. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the content, and their commitment to discussing real health issues affecting African Americans. I was also pleased to see an entire section devoted to gospel music and the extensive coverage given to recording artists in that genre.
