Lamar Tyler Dishes Out Tough Love, Good Advice in Web Series
As a blogger, have you ever wondered why you’re not getting hits on your Facebook fan page? Or maybe there’s a niche conference that you feel you should be attending yet you’ve never been invited. Do you feel like you’ve been doing everything you can to raise your brand’s presence, but to no avail? The answer to these situations, according to Lamar Tyler, is simple. It’s you.
In the latest installment of “The Gatekeepers Are Gone”, Tyler delivers a massive dose of reality check telling bloggers, “maybe instead of wondering what everyone else is doing, maybe you need to start wondering what you’re not doing.” Asking serious questions like who are you following on Twitter or “do you even have ads on your site” exhorts the viewer to take an honest look at their branding and marketing strategies. And for those that believe that people that started the year prior had it easier, Tyler quickly relieves viewers of that belief stating, “you know what the obstacle is. You know what the hurdle is. You just have to overcome that hurdle, overcome that obstacle to get where you want to be.”
