I Will Not Lose: A Blogger’s Call to Action
The second installment of Lamar Tyler’s new Web series, ” The Gatekeepers Are Gone” has hit YouTube, and it’s just as compelling as the premiere episode. Titled “I Will Not Lose”, Tyler encourages would-be bloggers to find the energy to blog regardless of how tired they might be by the end of the day.
“You need to redesign your site when you find out things aren’t working and those nights may be all-nighters. You may go from going to work to working on this new job, this social media thing, this blog thing which will be your new work and then going back to your 9-to-5 job. Do that enough nights, and you will no longer have that 9-to-5 job.”
Along with burning the midnight oil, Tyler also questions if bloggers are hustling to the best of their ability, asking them to take stock of the day and ask themselves if they’e done everything they could do for their product. Quoting entrepreneur and motivational speaker Jim Rohn, Tyler instructs his audience to work on their social media campaign, working to grow a Facebook presence while building relationship by reaching out to other blogs.
Tyler advises that the road to success isn’t easy, but it is obtainable — that is of course, if you’re willing to put the work in. So the question remains, are you ready to win?
