Chrome Continues To Bring Dynamic Extensions
It’s time to review some Chrome Extensions that will make your life easier, provide you with greater productivity and also have a little fun while you browse. In the past, we have reviewed a few Chrome Extensions. Let’s get to a few more to maximize your browsing experience.
TinEye Reverse Image Search – If you are into posting articles and searching for pictures, this extension will open your search world. TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks. When you submit an image to be searched, TinEye creates a unique and compact digital signature or ‘fingerprint’ for it, then compares this fingerprint to every other image in our index to retrieve matches. TinEye does not typically find similar images; it finds exact matches including those that have been cropped, edited or resized. The next update should allow this extension to work 100% on all Macs as well.
Yonoo – This is the same extension that works on Firefox. Yoono is a powerful but easy to use extension for Chrome that helps you simplify by connecting you to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, Friendfeed, AIM, Yahoo IM and more…all in one place. Update your status and share links, images and video from the page you’re viewing across all your networks simultaneously. Although I am partial to the meebo extension, this one is definitely worth a look due to the other social network capabilities.
Shoutcast – Listen to some of the best underground DJ’s and radio stations from around the world on the internet with this fancy extension. The SHOUTcast Radio Chrome Extension allows you to explore SHOUTcast stations, search by key word or browse across 20+ popular music genres. Explore with this extension and find new music from different sources.
