Texting.ly Adds To Your Marketing Effort

Text Messaging has become a crucial part of our daily lives as an average cell phone subscriber might send a little over 11 text messages per day. Most businesses have not utilized text message advertisement and engagement with their consumers as one would expect. Which brings us to Texting.ly. Textingly is a text-message marketing campaign management tool for businesses. It provides businesses with an inexpensive way to reach customers on a consistent basis without the negative connotation of SPAM.

Textingly’s tools integrate into channels companies currently use to reach their customers such as Facebook, Twitter, email and CRM platforms. From event reminders, to discounts and promotions, Textingly makes the process of using texting to directly reach customers with timely information simple and affordable. The New Jersey Nets recently became one of Textingly’s first major clients as they have launched a contest to receive game tickets when you text in a reason why you are excited to be a Nets fan. Extra points are given to the most recent texts.

The Nets also plan to launch a Texting.ly-based trivia game when the season begins. If free tickets and other Net’s paraphernalia are options as prizes for some of the trivia answers, adoption rates could be high. Loyal fans (and past fans) could engage even more with the team. Sending a text is easier than logging on to a website and entering a required answer. Plus, texting is more personal than just tweeting. As teams are trying to make their current (and potential) season ticket holders feel like they are having a luxurious experience, using Textingly fits into that plan.

What about location-based services? Textingly is working on a new feature which allows marketers to send text messages to people only within a certain geo-fence. This will allow local businesses to reach out to customers in a real time fashion and get them to visit when they are in the area. Real-time geo-location marketing is a sign of the future. Stay tuned for more updates on Textingly.
