Preview the Latest Facebook Profile Feature: Interesting Stuff

Isn’t that just like Facebook? Just when you get comfortable with one set of features, it rolls out another. While perusing Facebook, our executive editor, Robin Caldwell noticed that when you hover your mouse over your name or someone else’s a nifty new badge pops up displaying a photo, and the pics of common friends as well as your network.

That could be cool. It also just makes it easier for “friend” poachers to pick off your followers without having to data mine your friend list and risk prosecution and perhaps jail time. (What?!) I suppose the friendlier response is that it will enable your friends to connect with other hip and with it people who leave comments on your profile. (Side eyeing Facebook.)
