Is This The BlackBerry Storm 3? Or The Bold?

New phones are coming out the wood works like how Master P dropped albums. This new picture taken by the folks over at BlackBerryLeaks.com certainly is going to raise some eyebrows. You’re probably scratching your head wondering what BlackBerry this is? Let’s try and it figure it out together after the jump.

Could it be the Storm 3? The Bold? Well Kevin from CrackBerry.com suggests that “the Silder Berry will hit the market as part of the BlackBerry Bold line.” A pretty bold statement (pun intended) — but the jury is still out on that one.

In the pictures that leaked in full over at BlackBerry Leaks, the Slider had a bad battery and couldn’t be powered on. While it is safe to note that the Slider’s battery pack/back is unique, it’s interesting to imagine what type of battery could fit into its design. The phone has an FX-1, orange colored body, with rounded edges, is a bit thinner than the normal DX-1, and is only 1050mAh. Anyone willing to place any bets on what kind of battery this will be?

The body is much like the Storm 2 hence the debate — with the phone not falling into the same category. The lack of a SurePress touchscreen will have those weather chasing hounds howling as they suffer without that “clicking” sound. Not much else is known about the phone and while it wouldn’t make too much sense to have two different devices essentially the same, one has a larger screen, and the keyboard slides out.

Stay tuned to Black Web 2.0 as more about this develops. To see the rest of the BlackBerry… whatever pictures — head over to BlackBerryLeaks.com.
