Oprah Wants You to Stop Texting While Driving

Winfrey aired a show earlier this week that discussed how driving distracted is just as dangerous as driving drunk. She interviewed family members who had lost loved ones due to negligence, as they either chatted or texted while trying to maneuver their vehicles.  Oprah has created a webpage called ‘No Phone Zone,’ where she asks folks to take a pledge to end distracted driving. Since the inception of the page this past Monday, there have been more than 40,000 pledges thus far.
