Jabra Debuts First Bluetooth Speakerphone with Blackout Noise Technology
There is increasing concern for drivers that just can’t seem to put the phone down while driving. While multitasking at the wheel may seem like a great idea, the growing number of cell phone-related accidents says otherwise. Thankfully there’s always some cool gadgets coming out to solve our everyday life dilemmas.
Jabra, maker of high-quality headsets, just released the Jabra CRUISER. The CRUISER is a Bluetooth wireless speakerphone for cell phones. It’s the first wireless speakerphone “to feature Noise Blackout(TM) technology, a dual microphone system that eliminates street and traffic sounds while optimizing voice quality.”The enhanced tech ensures clear calls without having to raise your voice inside an otherwise quiet car. There’s also DSP technology that cuts down on the annoying echo.
The speakerphone allows for up to two Bluetooth-enabled phones or mp3 players to be connected and also comes with voice announced caller ID that links into the user’s contact book. There’s also an FM Transmitter. And to make sure you never miss a call while listening to music the CRUISER automatically fades out the music. If there are multiple phones, the device can also differentiate between which phone is receiving the call.
