very well put.
I had heard this from a
friend of mine once.
I honestly feel as if
everything is whatever
we want it to be..

If a person wants myspace
to be the "ghetto" then in
their universe it is.

I think both websites are
great and have helped me
with great networking

I long felt Facebook was that gated community that i wasnt supposed to be a a part of, but i got in because of affirmative action LOL. Back in the Day became a member because of the College Email address i had not because i graduated college but because i worked at a college. There was no alumni for me to socialize with and therefore i didnt really see the use. I am very happy with where Facebook has gone and i completely agree with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg regarding privacy concerns if you are on the internet dont expect any! LOL

But seriously i have met more cultured ppl on Myspace than on Facebook even though i was on Facebook longer than Myspace. Ghetto and Hip-Hop are found each and every day by our interns on Facebook in face almost 45% of our traffic comes from "Urban Hip Hop ppl on Facebook" - i am the socialmediaconsultant for rollingout dot com

I just thought the source of MySpace's downfall was the fact that users can use CSS to style their pages...when most people don't even know what CSS even stands for. It leads to many broken (or overloaded) pages, and people don't have the patience to try and connect with people when they can't even navigate a page in simple manor. Facebook may be "bland", but that is the beauty of it.
