Sorry you feel that way maltiti. Regardless of the “partnership” these sites are some of the most trafficked independently owned sites in the space….period.

Furthermore it isn't up to us nor our mission to educate these websites on moral issues. That is beyond us. We've never went on record to say we support the content on these sites which is exactly why at the beginning of the video the host mentions that the list was put together using Compete, Quantcast, and Alexa…some of the most popular tools in tracking visitors to websites.

Shame on BlackWeb2.0 for supporting the unsupportable. I visited two of the "Top 10", including MediaTakeOut. The general immaturity and unrelenting homophobia is appaling.

This is beyond me not being "part of the demographic" Yes, I'm a 32 year old woman (a hetero, if it matters). This is beyond "but they make their paper."

Giving rise to these kinds voices is completely inappropriate if education and/or correction aren't part of the deal.

Still loving me some BlackWeb2.0 and will continue to do so. This post, however, and the "partnership" gets a huge thumbs down.
