12 Days of Techmas: Setgo Transport Urban Bag
by Sherri L. SmithLeave it to those zany folks over at Yanko Design to shake up the bag as we know it. The Setgo Transport Urban Bag looks more like a high tech holster than a bag, but that’s what’s so appealing about it. I mean can’t you see you or a friend walking through the streets, tech at the ready to fend off boredom and misinformation like some modern-day tech cowboy/girl? Okay, maybe I’m taking the imagery a little to the left, but this would still make an awesome gift for the geek in your life that has more tech than hands.
As you can see in the photo, the Setgo wraps around your frame and is made from a durable nylon. There are two pockets in the front that can handle a cell phone or a mp3 player. The inside of the front strap has a zip-up pocket and a place for cash or maybe that pesky metrocard you’re always misplacing (seriously, $89 a pop for a monthly card is no joke!). The back of the “bag” features three inner pockets designated for gear storage. I would imagine a point-and-shoot, and more than a few cables could fit nicely. There’s also a large zip-up pocket that could probably fit a netbook and yet another external pocket.
With a retail price of $79, the Setgo Transport Urban Bag is a stylish way for the techie in your life to carry around all their can’t live without gadgets.
