I got these headphones as a birthday present. I had tested them out when my cousin let me listen to his pair. I got them in black and red. From playing electric guitar and piano, the 1/4AV converting system is absolutely amazing. And the sound that comes out from these headphones it better sounding than anything else. The reason for this is that there is a built in amplifier in the headphones that boosts the acoustics, instead of using gain for volume control. That's why it needs the batteries. The case is so convenient, and so is it's folding capabilities. This powerhouse can make any song sound 3 times as good with the improved quality. If you are a big music fan, a musician, or work in studios, have too much money and don't know what to buy with it (or all the above,) I recommend these. It's the best thing you can get with $350.

I just got the Studio headphones from http://www.buybeatsbydre.com , not custom ones though , regardless i would have to say at first i was a little hesitant at first like the average consumer for even thinking to spend $200+ on a set of headphones. I can honestly say that the purchase was worth every dollar I spent and im an extreme penny pincher. Nowadays you get what you pay for, and when it comes to my music and gadgets i dont mind spending the extra cash.

I ONLY HAVE ONE COMENT I WORK AT BEST BUY AND OWN THE TOUR BEATS AND HAD TWO PAIRS OF STUDIOS. BOTH OF THE STUDIOS BROKE RIGHT ABOVE THE METAL MONSTER LOGO AND THUS BOTH HAVE THUS BEEN RETURNED. I LOVE MY TOURS BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE SOUND ISOLATION AND THE AMIZING SOUND QUALITY BUT FOR OVER THE EARS I WENT FOR BOSE'S QC15'S AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AND THE SOUND CANCELING IS BETTER THAN THE BEATS. OH AND ALSO STUDIOS ARE ONLY $299.99 AT BEST BUY.

I think I told you last year that these headphones were the real deal and with all the celebrity endorsements they receive (music artists wearing them in videos), it's easy to see why folks would think there was more hype here. But these are really solid headphones — and worth the price tag for real serious music fans. They even work well in the studio.
