by Sherri L. Smith 12 Days of Techmas: Comes With Music

Every phone has its niche and a specific audience it caters to. Nokia’s latest phone is all about the boogie. The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music (yes, that’s really the phone’s name) is a music lover’s dream featuring a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a 640 x 360 pixel resolution. There’s also a 2 megapixel camera with a 3x digital zoom and Bluetooth connectivity. It’s alo social networking friendly with icons for Facebook, MySpace, and YouTube and there are a bunch of available apps.

So on to the music. Upon purchasing the 5232, users will have unlimited access to the Nokia Music Store over a 12 to 18 moth period. After the period is over, users have the option to sign up for a subscription service. The phone can play up to 33 hours of continuous music from a single charge. It can also store up to 3,400 songs thanks to the microSD card slot that expands the memory up to 16 GB.

The other selling point for this phone is the price. When it launches, in Q1 it’s only going to set you back $214. That’s low enough to consider making it a late holiday gift for yourself or someone special. After all, gift-giving never goes out of style.
