That’s cool and all, but until I see some solid specs, I’m not getting gassed about a skinny phone. Maybe I’m being a hater right now, but as much as I love shiny new tech and its untold promise, I’m not beat to get all excited about idle speculation

While I can potentially understand your dismay sir, might I remind you that words/terms such as 'bling' started out in rap, and now it's a term that is used and understood worldwide; showing up in countless songs, articles, movies, tv shows, adverts, and yes, even articles.

Eh, its cool. Everything isn't for everybody. The article is clearly an editorial and open to a little more expression. My writing is a mix of reporting, snark, and my personal outlook. It's subjective and byran1 is free to like or dislike whatever he chooses. At the end of the day, the point still remains – how many times are we going to fall for the media hype about a new phone only to be let down when the grand unveiling comes? It's an exercise in outright masochism and I for one am tired of flogging myself like the albino gent in “The Da Vinci Code.”
