Black Web 2.0 Introduces Blueprint
by Markus RobinsonOver the past 3 years, Black Web 2.0 has had the privilege of covering people of color as they’ve taken the web world by storm. We’ve watched as some of the most unlikely independent bloggers, video producers, and web entrepreneurs, turn their passions into blogs, and their blogs into brands. But for every success story, there are tens of thousands more who’ve tried and failed. So what separates the successes from the failures and what lessons can we learn from each that will help us in our own endeavors? What is the Blueprint for success? We understand that we’re not smart enough to know all the answers, so what we will attempt to do is answer these questions and more in our new series we’ve entitled “Blueprint”.
“Blueprint” is a Q&A session with some of the most successful and exciting web entrepreneurs of color. We understand that success can be defined in many different ways; so instead of selecting guests based solely on web traffic, Blueprint will spotlight people from a variety of different genres, who are making their mark in a variety of different ways. Blueprint will also give readers a behind the scenes look at some of these sites, asking questions about editorial and creative processes, content acquisition, advertising principles, and business models. The questions will hopefully server to inspire, enlighten, and educate us all.
