Great Panels @SxSW 2010

South by SouthWest’s Panel Panel Picker for 2010 was released recently and there are some great panels this year. Here are some to take a look at and hopefully take a moment to vote on. The panels below are by African-Americans and/or deal with race or identity. This year’s panel picker voting process is much easier consisting of a simple ‘yes’ (thumbs up) or ‘no’ (thumbs down) so voting should literally take a few seconds. I know I am missing some panels here, I haven’t gotten through the extensive list of panels for Interactive this year, so please add you’s in the comments and I can update the list in this post. New Digsby Includes Realtime Search and Global Status Updates

Disby just pushed out a new release that includes some very interesting and useful features. Besides a flashy new Windows 7 skin, Digsby has made some major changes under the hood. Their Infobox has been upgraded to a full blown web browser based on WebKit. WebKit is actually the same engine that powers Safari and the Google Chrome browser. This puts a lot of power into Digsby’s hands and removes the need to authenticate Facebook using Internet Explorer.
