President Obama to Discuss Health Reform on BlogTalkRadio

by Robin Caldwell President Obama to Discuss Health Reform on BlogTalkRadio

If 4.5 million visitors per month was not enough, BlogTalkRadio is about to make Internet radio history. The podcasting site announced that President Obama will be appearing on a special program, 40 Minutes of Health Reform, aired only on BlogTalkRadio. And the number of visitors to the site is expected to soar.

The President will appear on the last 10 minutes of the show after he listens to a roundtable discussion that involves the leaders of FaithfulAmerica, a non-profit organization. FaithfulAmerica came up with the idea to do the program on BlogTalkRadio.

I’ve been impressed by how President Obama has adopted innovative social-media technology during his campaign and into his administration,” says Alan Levy, CEO of BlogTalkRadio. “We’re honored that he has selected BlogTalkRadio as his newest requisite platform for communicating directly with the American people.

The show will air live on Wednesday at 5 PM ET (2 PM PT) on both BlogTalkRadio’ program page and on the Faith For Health site. Text “obamalive” to 44636 to receive an alert about the show.
