Silicon Valley Freedom Riders of Technology Honored

An important part of the Digital Revolution was left out (or was never included depending on how you look at it!) of its history, but is now being brought to the mainstream in the form of a documentary by technology historian John William Templeton. The name of the documentary is ‘Freedom Riders’, which chronicles prominent African-American Silicon Valley technologists from the 1950s and 1960s. Among those chronicled include Roy Clay Sr. who was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Council Hall of Fame in 2003. This video shows these men being honored this year for their accomplishments in an exhibit (created by John William Templeton) at the Palo Alto City Hall. Check out the video below:
