The Target Market News reports (The Network Journal launches re-designed/July 27) that The Network Journal (TNJ) has re-launched with a new website and content design with an expanded news focus.

Aziz Gueye Adetimirin, TNJ’s founder, publisher and CEO told Target Market News,

“‘As a black magazine, we strive to deliver business news and information pertinent to black professionals and black business owners in an organized manner. That’s why we’ve streamlined the TNJ portal, adding more exciting channels like current news, technology, career, lifestyle, personal finance and TNJ events on the page, as well as access to the print magazine.’”

Adetimirin’s goal for the website includes its being the number one online destination for black professionals offering interactive tools and resources that engage and hold the visitor’s attention.

Editor-in-chief Rosalind McLymont adds,

‘”TNJ was one of the first African American magazines to have a presence on the Web. Now that we have given that presence a new shape and structure, we expect an increase in the number of visitors looking for news and information about the black professionals and black entrepreneurs, especially black business women.”‘

TNJ’s July-August 09 print edition features a cover story on Benjamin Todd Jealous, president of the NAACP.

The Network Journal was founded in 1993.
