  • Was I the only one who felt CNN got this one wrong? Either they were trying to tap into the recent popularity of Barack Obama. Or they just really didn't get it. One after another of negative portrayals of being black in america. Soledad O'Brien with her extensive coverage of hurricane Katrina and being there, I would have though she would have played this one different. Very disappointed in her. Watching this as a whole it was sort of uncomfortable to watch this. I didn't feel this represented me or an entire generation of 20 -33 black men and women. I can see this being a puff piece to make good off of the heavily negative toned Black in America. Either way this Time Warner so their perspective isn't the most credible one. But then again who else could give a show like this a huge platform. Double edged sword I guess. They should do this for more nationalities. Latin, asian, arab in america. “CNN Presents White in America. Its Awesome!!”

  • How about Love in America, as we are a Nation of many race and creed. etc. Now I kow that the black race for years were supressed and as far as slave well some were and many perhaps treated good and loved and they loved. many from other country kiss the ground of America for they got here and living in it. They all had a better way of life and as for Slave they were there in other area of the Nation in history as well. I do not know one black person, yet that would want to pack the bag they have and move to Africa do you? and if they were not here and love was not present then why is there a black President right now. For a long time the wihte were stupid working hard and allowing the black brotehr andsister to stay at home and make baby, while we supported them to do so not to have them work what is this, think about it. what thinking one is better then the other or just wanting to take care of someone as it all drain the money from us and then the white join in as well. and more and more. Look at Iraq do you think that other wanted to die innocent people there and our man and women from here as well what for. but then in time all s not in vain other ween to suffer in ways for us and then the open door will be there ofor many. look at Jesus he had to suffer die for us all all for our salvation did he like it Not at all. yet he had to do so. as many do black and wihte and other in all Nations and them there is a way for good to happen so it seem so. and yet I do think we need to appreciate our ascestor to go thur what they did many of all races to bring us to a better way of life. wars and all. and slave in all time in history and now we have homless on street and no food much as well. what now. Do we take them in and help them and in return do things for us. many would run for that to happen then live in the woord with spider and snakes and dirt and rain and mud and all try it it may work so I think we have said to the black race and others we as American are sorry for all hurt they had to get to whre we are now. yet. so many have suffer even the Jews. and now I think that the black race and others would say to America I thank God for you. for without all that happen we not be ok and for years had a better way of life and much love. if you give love you will receive love and love is the bond we need and to brake a evil force that seem to come upon ma. so it is easy to love just do it and let us all fund a better way of life. and reach out and help someone today in our home in our area and in our life. thank you, Maryann

also we should be taling and telling and letting our children know that love is the key and een if black or whie or other races we may be. that even if are family suffer to get us here and they did it was worth it all to them and for us and we want to tell them so as well and be proud of them to do and obey and get the job done in the end and with love and respect and appreciation for all. and know that not just the black race suffer but many suffer in life just as they are and many had to give the llife they had een iin a war to free.
for many and sitll. yet there may be a better way if we all can realize it and not fight but join in brotherhood. and not allow a evil force to come in us around us and to us and if so go the other way and in the process of all show love and yet stand up with your spirt in you to tell of the irght of God and then let it go.
