In the interim, Techcrunch posted, “The Web Collapses Under The Weight Of Michael Jackson’s Death,” and cited that Twitter and other websites (AOL’s TMZ, Perez Hilton and the LATimes) crashed as fans rushed to read news reports on the King of Pop.
