Robert Fitzgerald Joins GlobalHue as Executive Vice President – Media Director
Advertising Age‘s #1 African American (#4 Hispanic) advertising agency in the nation, GlobalHue, recently appointed international advertising and marketing expert Robert Fitzgerald as their Executive Vice President – Media Director. A press release states,
“This marks a key appointment as GlobalHue transforms its media group to continue to meet the communication needs of clients in a challenging economic environment.”
Fitzgerald’s international experience was instrumental in GlobalHue’s decision to hire him. The advertising agency also stated in its release that it was expanding into international markets through it’s clientele.
“Fitzgerald, a 20-year international, industry expert, replaces Tracy Decker, who recently left the agency. He joins GlobalHue from Initiative after working in the United Kingdom, Poland, Japan and China. His first foray in the United States was in 2006 when he was Head of Strategy, Planning and Insight at the Initiative agency. While there, he successfully transformed the agency into an industry-leading integrated media, marketing and digital company.”
Robert Fitzgerald has been posited as the strategist who has a demonstratable ability to utilize new media technologies with traditional platforms. With this appointment is the hope that GlobalHue will lead by employing digital interactive strategies that are both Web 2.o and 3.0 in focus.
