I do have message boards and chat rooms to worry about so probably, no dice.
I also have Glam on several of my sites and the only thing they've ever asked for is to be “above the fold”, which they have worked with me on under certain circumstances. Same thing with BlogHer. Anyway, I'm sure I'm maxed out on “fold” action at this point anyway, lol.

Essence uses their ad network to advertise magazine subscriptions so they dont have to deal with sites on a one-off basis. Thats all ive really seen in there. They probably should call themselves an affiliate program with benefits to be on real black or something versus an ad network

So true facebook user… If you visit any site, one would see various ad networks running…
As long as you give them impressions, all is well… ( aka… display ads )

This is for the sake of their advertisers, not their publishers. They claim they have exclusive rights to advertisers, but they don't have the energy or will to police it on the publisher side.

That's still a big difference between above the fold exclusivity and your entire site plus anything it spawns including other sites. Thats just crazy.
