Vocay, Job Board for Diversity Launched

by Angela Vocay, Job Board for Diversity Launched

Today we launched a new job board called Vocay.  We hope that Vocay will be a place for geeks (like us) and others in the Web/Interactive industry to come to look for jobs and employers who are specifically interested in hiring and building diverse teams.  Often times companies try to satisfy being complaint as an EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer) by adding some vague verbiage at the bottom of job postings.  That’s all fine and dandy however the employers you will find on Vocay are ACTIVELY seeking to build teams that come from many backgrounds and experiences.  Outside of the typical features you find on job boards (pay per job posting -which is the cheapest around at $50/job- , featured listings, FT and Freelance postings) we will be rolling out an API and affiliate program if you are interested in implementing into your own site in the near future.

We hope that for those who are unfortunately out of work during these times Vocay will serve as another way for you to find a job and compete in this marketplace.  For those who are looking for that next gig and are sick of sitting at their desk daydreaming of going on vacay we hope you will go on Vocay instead ;)   Here are a couple of sweet openings posted today:
