Recovery.gov: Track the Stimulus Package Online
by BW 2.0 StaffPresident Obama signed The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 today, and while much of the $789 billion in spending provided over the legislation’s 1,100 pages will take years to make its way into the economy, one provision of the bill is already being enacted: The White House has launched Recovery.gov, a site designed to track the myriad expenditures authorized under the law for transportation infrastructure, broadband deployment, science, education, and targeted tax relief.
