iPhone App Review: Yes it’s HammerTime

First Lil Wayne and now MC Hammer comes to your iPhone with his HammerTime iPhone application [iTunes link]. Hammer is fully embracing social media and now mobile media with the release of his new application. The app features links to his social networking dancing site, DanceJam.com, links to post about Hammer, his tweets and it wouldn’t be a Hammer application without links to some of his classic videos such as Let’s get it started, They Put me in the Mix and You Can’t touch this.

Here’s a video review of the HammerTime iPhone application:

So far we’ve seen both Lil Wayne and Now MC Hammer develop iPhone applications to use as a promotional tool for their brand. Unlike Lil Wayne’s iPhone fee at $0.99 the HammerTime app is free. I’m still waiting to see other Hip Hop and R&B artist to embrace mobile technology and social media such as Lil Wayne & MC Hammer and it looks like the iPhone is the place to start.

Who would you like to see come out with an iPhone application next?
