Calvin Pace: NY Jets Linebacker, Foodie and Techie?
by AngelaIt always surprises me when I have the opportunity to have a conversation I didn’t expect to have. I actually look forward to these things. I recently had the opportunity to chat with Calvin Pace of the NY Jets and was surprised to hear that in addition to being a foodie he has a bit of a Tech bug.
While he hasn’t had his iPhone for long he is already an App addict. He took the time to share what apps are his fave and which ones he finds most useful during the season and off-season.
What iPhone features do you use the most in general?
“I really use everything from the email to Apps that I’ve added like Bank of America, ESPN and Zagat review. I think the best feature is the WiFi internet because of the speed and the clarity of the pictures.”
What iPhone Apps do you find most helpful during the season?
“During the season I find that my ESPN app helps to keep up with the daily happenings in the sports world, the weather app so I can know how hot and cold it will be at practice and games and the Maps for accurate directions.”
What iPhone Apps do you find most helpful in the off-season?
“I just got my iPhone 2 months ago so I haven’t experienced an off-season yet but I think the Zagat app will be most helpful. I’m an avid foodie and I like to travel, so I’ll know where the best restaurants are in whatever city I’m in.”
Calvin also has his own Blog over at Yardbarker and you can find him on MySpace and Facebook as well. If you’re a sports novice like myself you can find out more about Calvin on Mahalo.
