I think this is a much needed experiment. For just 1 year support a Black Business and see if it will have an impact. I know of many Black Businesses that are folding due to no support and they are great businesses. A big part of the problem is Black People spending 600+ Billions of dollars a year don't know they exist. Visit: www.BlackMercedesClub.com and see someone else on the same page. It is not to divide but to be viable Americans that educate and uplift your own community. Just try it..everyone and see and let's not blame innocent businesses that probably don't even know about the experiment. Can't we all get along ... eventhough we have different ideas? Hummm, well all I have to say is we need to TRY because what we have been doing isn't working.

The ebony experiment is simply discrimination against all
business not black. How is that justified? If there was a movement
like this on the part of any other race, blacks would be the first to
scream Racism.

I just have to ask, Don't you realize the is RACISM of the highest degree. How can we expect to get ahead by alienating ourselves from other races all around us? How will that better us? I do not like the idea of the experiment simply because of it being so BLANTANTLY RACIST! I feel we should support our fellow man, not just blacks, but every other race as well. We are not being held back by other races in this day and age, we have every equal opportunity. By segregating ourselves again we are taking a huge step backwards and it will backfire. We should be trying to get along in a crazy world and help everyone without prejudice or hatred. I see skinheads and thugs, hispanic and asian gangs are everywhere. Will it take a race war in order to finally try to bring some sort of peace to this world. Why are you doing this experiment? To cause a greater divide? Think experiment is ridiculous and you shoud be ashamed of even suggesting anything so racist. I am of your race and I am much older than you. I have seen and lived through alot. I have white friends, black friends, and every other race, and I am not ashamed of that, I am proud of that. They are good people who I trust a very great deal. Equality can be if you just try. People please stand up for your fellow man, not just the man of your own race. Please.

It is quite similair to the practices of all ethnic groups across the world. amazingly, it is not readily and easily understood by African Americans, but by everyone esle.

Basically it is the way for black america to prosper by re-distributing as much of the $800 billion annual buying power. Follow the example of other succesful groups, it works.

Ask the Greeks, Italians, Jews, Africans, Latinos, anyone…

i have heard all my life that we need to fix our own neighborhood this is a great starting place because i agree we do need to fix ourselves .i grew up in oklahoma we had over 20 black township at one point now we`re down to 4 or 5 i would like to see those towns re-established with black people trapped in the enter-city that would love to have a new start

If i was selling my house to only white people or had a sign outside my business indicating that it is only for white patrons I would probably be criticized by the same people that praise this project. Racism comes in all shapes and colors and just like the duck, if it walks, looks and smells like one, it probably is.

I read about The Ebony Experiment and was delighted to see this happening. I am Caucasian and grew up in Brooklyn many years ago. I lived in an immigrant blue collar neighborhood and went to school with African American kids. I saw how tough things were for them. I know of the stores in predominately African American neighborhoods where the produce and meat are inferior and prices are higher. Many large supermarkets don't bother opening stores there. I don't consider this experiment as adopting segregation. I see it as trying to help neighborhoods and I think that's great. I live in California and shop at stores that are owned by many different people and have learned a lot about different cultures. Good luck with this program.

Thank God someone feels the way I do. We as Black Americans should and need to support our companies. I live in los Angeles, and everyone is supporting their own except us. It's funny when we start to mobilize for our own causes we always have to include everybody. If you check out history we did own our own buisinesses and did well. Good Luck.
