Obama isn’t all that BOLD

He might have to give up his BlackBerry but that doesn’t need to stop you from picking up the brand new BlackBerry smartphone called the BOLD on ATT. We all know how much President-elect Obama used technology to run his campaign, but now the same tech that helped him win the presidency can be used against him. Obama has been known, like many politicians to be addicted to their blackberry devices & with good reason the Blackberry to me is still the best email device for busy professionals who need that real-time “over-the-air” synchronizing of their calendars and email. However, now that he’s going to be the President there’s a little thing called the Presidential Records Act, which basically means all his communication becomes an official record and can be pulled up for public review. So let’s see if he becomes the 1st President to email or carry a BlackBerry in the meantime you should def give the BOLD a look. I am really loving this device! The screen resolution is phenomenal, very vivid and much larger than previous bberry devices, the screen is 480×320 larger than many other phones on the market. This also dramatically enhances the web browsing experience on the Bberry which for a long time was horrible. Now, it can’t compare to the iPhone browser but it’s a major, major improvement. Some other highlights of the BlackBerry Bold is the ability to talk and work at the same time in other words you can use data services while using voice services at the same time this is an amazingly overlooked feature of the AT&T network on the BOLD phone which allows people to read, send or browse the web and talk at the same time. Attachment viewing is pretty impressive, streaming video looks incredible, watching a movie on this device is pleasurable. The Bold also comes pre-loaded with some software like DataViz Documents to Go which gives you Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The battery life on the BOLD is incredible and still ranks as the champ of “stand-by mode”. The phone looks slick, executive-like with modern flair and looks better than any other Bberry on the market! Ohhh and the processor is a whopping 624MHz processor which helps this phone fly through the apps and tasks. The price is right at $299 it won’t break the bank. If you are a BlackBerry head this is heaven for you!
