Michael Baisden Launches Social Network
As if there weren’t enough multicultural targeted social networks online, Michael Baisden today launched his own. I See Color is a Ning based network that gives Baisden’s listeners a chance to interact with the syndicated radio host, as well as the rest of his thousands of listeners. I See Color, consists of content channels covering the latest news in the area of business, relationships, politics, and health. The majority of the content is syndicated from outside sites using a mix of RSS feeds and widgets.
The entire site is a mix of the usual uninspiring drab layout, design, and content we’ve grown accustom to seeing with Ning sites. What is impressive about ISeeColor.com is its rate of growth. Leveraging the power of radio, the site grew from a little over 400 users to approximately over 4,400 within hours of the site’s announcement on Baisden’s show.

Why get upset about someone exercising their constitutional right? Besides hasn’t that same man been arrested for sex with an underage female? Maybe his picture is on the sex offenders website. Don’t get upset by the sticks and stones, you know they’re coming, at least Obama does.
I can no believe that people think the way the do. The people in jail has better health care than you do. You tax payers are paying for it.

This really is directed to Mr. Baisden – I transferred here to Atlanta Aug, 2008 through my job. Came here to expand my department from Hartford, CT to the firm’s Atlanta office. Needlesstosay, I was laid off 10/31/08, 3 months after arriving. It has been almost a full year of sending my resumes out to 100′s of employers, getting expert resume writing advice, registering with 10 different personnel agencies and still today, I am unemployed. I have no college degree however, I have 25 years plus experience working in the legal profession. Over 30 years working in a business environment, management skills, legal skills, running my own business. I recently took and passed my real estate exam in the hopes of starting my own business in real estate, which has been my passion for many years. However, I need a 9-5 job as my base until I can get the business up and running. I have reached a point now where my unemployment is about to run out & I’m really getting scared that I will become homeless. I have no family here nor any real friends. I need someone with clout, knowledge, and recognition to help me. Please, please, please HELP me!
Im a new member of i see color but a long time supporter of michael baisden and his show. We just need to respect and support each other in all aspects of our life. The five key problems today are ourfamily, our youth, our education, our communities and our economic opportunities. Its all interrelated of course.
Mr. Baisden I listen to your show every day and I also listen on Sundays to the Jeffery Leving Dad’s right show and I would like to raise an awareness about that law firm , it is for the rich and not for the average working person , he makes it sound like they are reasonable , they are not , My son just had a bad experience with that firm and it is a good example of how lawyers will talk your money no results and get away with it and as a black person they have no heart when it comes to us Michael you are icon in the black community and good at informing the public and this is one time we need to be aware and I ‘m very hurt that my son was taken like that . and there is nothing that can be done but let others be aware. that we are being taken by a law firm promoting Dad’s right and reaching out to the black community.Be aware of what you are promoting to your listeners

Pimps in the Pulpit! There are some outlandish cats in the pulpit! This is really nothing new because as i was growing up in the church i would always see the decked out preachers coming in an looking like they are from Augusta GA. With all of the pimp qualities and behavior. Trick better have my money! but in today’s society i think the glam of the mega churches are pulling in all of the hustlers and pimps from their lackluster former career. They have figured it out! If they can get a hoop and WELLLLL and a GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD isssssssssss. then they can tickle the very thin skin of the so naive christian who is not aware of the wolf(pastor) in a robe and a slick suit and gain entrance and the key to the church and the safe. I say we need to be more aware of our spiritual prowlness and call it what it is! A pimp does not and should not be in the pulpit. I am a Communicable Disease Specialist in the metro Atlanta area and I urge people to please get yourself and your partner tested for all STD’s and HIV before participating in sex of any kind. The number of HIV cases are increasing amongst the teenagers and if explicit sex education (showing genital areas with the disease or outbreak) is taught in the classroom, I feel more kids will be less likely to participate in sex or use preventive measures when doing so. Just please, get tested regularly.

What is this network about?
Boycott Barnes and Nobles book stores. Why? I have received a picture of a window display in front of the store located in Allentown, PA at the Lehigh Valley Mall. I had a circle of books which appeared to be promoting Obama and his family. It created the letter O. However, in th center of the circle, they displayed a book titled “Monkeys” and the cover was a picture of a monkey. In my opinion, this confirms the idea that this is no accident and it was intentionally done. I plan on uploading the picture for all to see, soon.
