LG Lotus

While at the BlogHer Reach Out Tour stop in DC (which was awesome btw) I got a chance to see the new LG Lotus up close and personal.  While I love my iPhone (cracked screen and all) the Lotus is just as sexy.  Designed by Christian V. Siriano from season 4 of Project Runway the Lotus is hip and sexy but its’ wide body could be a bit bulky for most.  Here’s the run down:

2 megapixles camera/camcorder

2.4″ internal widescreen

1.3″ external display

Full QWERTY keyboard

microSD memory port

External music controls

While LG is touting the phone’s 18-mm “thin body” I can say while holding it it didn’t feel so thin at all.

The lotus does have some appealing features like document viewing for Word and Excel files, threaded SMS, and built in GPS.  The Lotus is not available just yet but you can be notified when it is on Sprint’s website.  Once released it will be available exclusively on the Sprint Network.

It seems like it’s totally targeted toward women. Is it good for business folks? I see that it’s cute and you can view Word and Excel. But how’s the email functionality? What’s the OS like? Tell us more. :-)

Looks sweet for the ladies. Wifey will definitely want to take a closer look at that one when it comes out. Hope it comes to Alltel one day.

Very interesting design. I wonder how much of a success it will be when it gets released.
