Bought the iPhone 3G in just under an hour in line in Lansing MI and walked away with a working iPhone grinning ear to ear by 9:30 AM! Only to find that they had given me a new number instead of upgrading mine! grrrr... just went back in the evening to get sorted. I was impacted in rather a different way.
