In Episode # 7 of the Black Web 2.0 Show we speak with Chuck Creekmur and Greg Watkins founders of Allhiphop.com. Coined as the “CNN of Hip Hop News”, Allhiphop (AHH) is the number one source for all things Hip Hop. With an average of 5 million visitors and over 100 million impressions monthly, AHH has been a constant force in hip hop since its launch in 1998. AHH features daily updates, interviews, reviews and a fast growing community, sharing news and views of their own. Sources as varied as CNN, The Associated Press, The O’Reilly Factor, XXL Magazine, VIBE and the New York Daily News all regularly use AllHipHop.com’s pages. The site has also been an innovator in the mobile field, delivering daily news alerts to over 300,000 music industry taste makers and Hip-Hop lovers’ phones and emails. The AllHipHop.com founders maintain 100% African American ownership and are often vocal authorities in urban critiques and industry analysis.

In our interview, Chuck and Greg discussed their impending deal with Interactive One, share some insight on how they continue to stay on top of their business, and talked about some of the technology that most interest them amongst other things.
