@ Solacetech...I agree with your 2 points however I do think we African-Americans are making some head headway in the VC world, for instance GlobalGrind.com is partially funded by Accel who also funded Facebook in addition to being funded by Russell Simmons.  What is very interesting is the other options African-American start-ups have, I think there may be a type of niche funding for these type of web properties, not necessarily the typical VC route.</description>

We won't last too long if we don't: 1)Break into the mainstream so VC's and other companies will work with us. 2) Support each other even if it's not the usual "entertainment site". Black websites has such a huge potential but it seems we are satisfied with making profiles on myspace...imho</description>
