I still think there is potential here, the same potential BlackPlanet.com had in its early days. I remember feeling the same why back then about BlackPlanet as you do now with Afriville. BlackPlanet however did try to grow away from that, I am not saying that it is not on there now because it is and it will probably always be but by expanding their channels (Professional, dating, jobs) users can now choose what content they want to be associated with.
